The National School Chaplain Association (NSCA) recently participated in the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) annual meeting to engage with like-minded individuals and organizations and advance policies that strengthen the United States' foundation.

NSCA Legislative Ambassador Jim Schmidt seized the opportunity to connect with policymakers, advocates, and faith leaders from various fields to discuss the role of chaplains in promoting conservative values and principles in educational settings.

During the gathering, NSCA emphasized the importance of fostering a supportive environment for school chaplains to uphold traditional moral and ethical standards while offering guidance and spiritual care to students, staff, and parents. The association reiterated its commitment to protecting religious freedoms and promoting the delivery of holistic caregiving in public schools as integral components of American life.
